i know im gonna get flamed for this... but for me, the most addictive game ever was halo2. it's like my xbox crack-- i play that shit 4-5 hours a day, everyday.

What a totaly lame game. I tried selling it only a few days after getting it when I realised that I'd rather play Halo another million times before that gash, mediocre excuse for a game.

eh- I know we're entitled to our own opinions... I personally enjoy the game... way too much. A good 85,000+ people play per day so at least give it some credit.

I just have very concrete opinions, I don't mean it to sound like I'm forcing my opinion on you or anything. I just enjoyed the original so much and the sequel didn't do it for me at all, it didn't have that spark. Multiplayer was the only half decent thing about it really.

Legendary mode was just exceptionaly hard, not the fun yet challenging difficulty from the first game. The ending sucked because it makes you wait for the third installment.

To each their own though, glad you enjoy the game

halo was about addictive as shit-flavoured ice-cream. tho i guess thats what happens when youre a spoiled lil PC player that has more to compare it to than mediocre PC to console ports

I truely think everquest was the most addictive game ever.
being in guilds and doing the "high end" stuff made you devote all your free time to it if you wanted to get "good gear"

Hell f'ing yes. I had a SNES with one game in my room this last semester at university. Can you guess the game??

Mario Kart.

(Although, I love it for N64, and Gamecube )

I'm sorry but my vote is to Castlevania Symphony of the Night. I spent 2 days playing that game, close to nonstop, to get my 200% complete.

Either that or Far Cry. Another game where countless nights I was up until 4 or 5am playing it. It got to the point where sometimes I would avoid eating or going to the bathroom because of how engrossed I became
