Give him a call and ask.

Posted by Peter K on May-30-2005 03:59:

I've been wondering the same thing. he hasn't updated his site since August.

Posted by pyro on May-30-2005 05:51:

i love a lot of chicane's stuff mostly his behind the sun album and would love to know when hes coming out with more tunes. would like to see him and justine suissa do some more collaborations.

Chicane "Live at Palladium" was what did it for me.
"Behind the Sun" was also good, excellent cd to listen to while lounging at the beach in the evening.

yeah chicane is awesome, i myself haven't heard from them in ages. i love their stuff, especially Saltwater, such a mad track.

Posted by Mycron on May-30-2005 10:08:

the guy is a genius,

one of the most respectable producer in trance

Posted by [Chriz] on May-30-2005 11:11:

i'm also hoping he has some new stuff on the way....

Posted by stamper on May-30-2005 12:07:

There was a rumour going around he was going to be in Australia this year but nothing has come of that.

I think trance needs him back, thats for sure.

Posted by Nell on May-30-2005 21:19:

well apparently the far from the maddening crowds album is going to be repressed and come with a dvd full of videos like the behined the sun album did. i really hope so! i know that's no new info, but it's some.

Posted by dkode on May-30-2005 21:23:

I guess he's far from the maddening crowds

hehe cheese

anyway, i've been wondering this too, my guess is that he's doing alot of production for other artists

Posted by Psiweaver on May-30-2005 23:55:

I really love chicane i hope he comes out with some more stuff.

Posted by Zombie0729 on May-30-2005 23:58:

his goal as of 2 years ago was to begin doing more score's for movies so i do believe he has teamed up with some fairly famous classical composers.

i'll see if i can find the article

Posted by Viber on May-31-2005 00:59:

I think that his latest album ("Easy To Essamble") can tell us that Chicane does'nt wanna do his Saltwater-offshore kinda music anymore,I kinda hope that he will though

Posted by Peter K on May-31-2005 02:58:

Chicane should put 'Mojave' on Easy to Assemble instead of all that commercial stuff. I don't understand, so many people want Mojave released, yet he is so reluctant to do so

Posted by Lil-H on May-31-2005 03:05:

how many albums has he realesed?

I was wondering about buying an album of him, but I bought something else. I think they still have the cd in the record shop, on the cover it is a ariplane. is it a good cd?

Posted by sthus on May-31-2005 05:26:

What is Chicane doing ?
Easy to Assemble was nowhere near his best work ...
I'm gonna find out where he lives ... pitch a tent and peacefully protest by having sex with hot chicks ...
Which hot chicks are with me ?

Posted by iammesol on May-31-2005 05:29:

simple, Chicane is sitting on his ass enjoying the money he made from Saltwater, then the money he made from Saltwater - The Legacy, because it sampled Saltwater

haha, you can't forget the Saltwater (Fresh Pond Water remix) using the lyrics from the original saltwater, or the Saltwater Dub which is the same as Saltwater, just with the word "Dub" added.

If he is sitting on his ass, hell i can't blame him!

Posted by Lil-H on May-31-2005 14:01:

still, he's a pretty damn good artist so it would just be wrong if he didnt care anymore. he should get out there and produce ffs !

me want

im also a huge fan. grew into trance with a lot of chicane's early productions.

maybe it was the bryan adams project that ended his brilliance!?
