[MELB] Deep Dish Saturday June 4th & June 9th @ Prince

couldnt be stuffed looking for the other thread so here is another one

i want to know if anyone can get some tickets. the contact i was gonna get some off dogged me and didnt pull through.

ive heard its sold out but does anyone have a ticket they are whilling to sell or know anywhere i could still get some from!?

should be a decent night.

metro gig is sold out
but i read there will be a second more intimate gig at the prince.

DEEP DISH will be performing for 6 hours on Thu June 9 in the more intimate surrounds of the Prince. Tickets are now on sale..

There's still gonna be 200 tickets on the door for the Saturday gig apparently, but I've already bought tickets for the Thursday one at Prince. Works for me cos it's cheaper, they're playing for longer and - imho - Prince is a better venue. Also, as if you needed any further convincing, it's gonna be a One Love event.

you have me thinking. is the thursday gig this weekor next. and same price for 6 hours yeh?

It's on Thursday the 9th (so not this Thursday, but the next one) and it's $40 which - I think - is $10 cheaper than the Metro gig.

Just make sure you don't forget your Von Dutch trucker cap...

this roll call is a sub-par effort for DJs as good as deep dish.
Sure, they aren't as good as they used to be. Yes, their sole purpose for touring is to whore the Yoshitoshi label. And yes, they do venture away from the really deep dark, groovy house they used to play in favor of more prog-trance-esque melodies.

But you know, in a 6 hour set, at least some of their old brilliance will show itself, and you won't regret going.

Get out and see the dish AUTAs.

P.S. - Sharam's still got it. Ali does not.

So glad I got to see DD tear it up in T.O last year Not fussed if I miss out this time round. Am more looking forward to Danny Howells (maybe) and definitley Digweed in November
