Advice on track
Hi ppl,
I'm producing my first Psy-Trance track...
I'd like some advices from my mix, master, sounds, melody etc... What you guys think...?
It's not finished yet, but it has 1/3 of the music.
I think this topic won't fit in amateur production (yet), cause I don't want common listeners to advice me at this moment.

I'm checking it out right now...I'll let you know! =o)
OK everything sounds cool except the hi-hats which have to much sheen to them and not enough zing, hehe. I like that wah-wah sound and and the bassline is tight...could be less bass heavy but hey, I don't listen to Psy so I don't know how it should go, hehe. Mixing sounds OK so far in my fatigued ears. One of the notes from the arp that starts at 1:57 swings too early...maybe you did it on purpose but it doesn't sound right. When everything is sounding together, I don't notice it but at the beginning by itself, I can tell it's swinging earlier than the rest. But so far sounds cool...I have no advice since I don't make Psy!
I forget to say, I'm still fixing some sync problems with my nord lead arpegiator and Cubase...
But thanks for helping... The hats and snare I'm thinking rec my friends acoustic drum sounds...
Thanks for help...
Ha! I thought to myself I heard a Nord in there...that sound is hard, hehe. I have a Nord 2.
Hehehe...
Nord 2 is almost on 90% of the psy live acts... Mine is the NL3.
Just having one to know how good they are (even without onboard effects). They do what they have to do - alwesome sounds. It's like an Gibson guitar - "effects? Sold separately..."
Yep, hehe, I like the sound...even dry like it is sounds damn good. I don't us emine a lot because I've been using software but I'll probably start using it again.
