I know it's just a stupid pageant and whatever, but I rose to my feet and held my hands up high in honor, and pride and as a testemant that you truly are the beautiful women on earth

i don't think she is russian.. i think it was another country she moved from when she was 12. either way, she is canadian now, and canada rocks and canadian girls rule!

Yeah there pretty good TCB. But your from Adelaide, and the chicks there are pretty good as well.

Overall canadian women are a cut above the aussie chicks thats for sure

And yes Ms Canada was from Russia. I only saw the start when they narrowed it down to 15, and i had my money on Ms Switzerland.

I still think Jennifer Hawkins (Ms Universe 2004) was freakin good. That was pretty big that an aussie won Ms Universe, first time i think.

to be honest, i dont find miss canada very much attractive. yeah, she looks good, but there were better candidates. i didnt watch the show so cant really tell, but from the pictures i saw, miss mexico is 100 times better looking

yeah, her press photo i think is pretty good, but her pics they took of her at the show were just good. there were some girls they way more gorgeous. however, the pagent isn't just about looks. if it was, we could potentially have some pretty ditzy miss universes.

i can't remember who it was that placed 5th, but her speech was bad. i think it was venezula or someone like that. she was asked, what she would do to help her own country, or what she thought were the worst issues facing her country, and instead of using the interpreter, she tried english. props to her on that, but her answer wasn't that great, she went over the buzzer (understandable trying to use english) and she talked about political and economic problems, but didn't go into detail or how she would offer or suggest to fix these problems, which she left as generic. then again its all on the spot, i know i've crashed during some on the spot questionings ie interviews or project presentations.

preference, and you have to be really consistent in each round to secure a winning spot...but still even after all that, CANADIAN WOMEN ROCK!!!
