Delta Goodrem

Hey all

I figured this was the best place to ask... does anyone here know if there are any trance or EDM remixes of Delta Goodrem songs out there???

Hehehe, I think im the only person over here that knows about her. I absolutely LOVE her voice. I dont normally ever listen to that kind of music, but the first time I saw her sing (on a TV show North Shore) I was in awe. She has such a wonderful voice... never heard a better female singer's voice in my life! Love the pino sounds that dominate her songs too!

As I was walking my ass to werk today, I was thinking, damn, if they ever remixed any of hers songs (like with Sarah McLaughlan) into trance or house, thatd be even MORE heavenly. Im surprised that I enjoy her music as much as I do (im as likely to listen to her CD as I am a trance CD), and was thinking, if there were any trance remixes kicking around, that'd be fuckn sweet!!

Anyways, thanks for any help you guys if indeed there are any remixes of her songs!

oh yea, and this one KILLED me, yall call your "wife beaters" (usually just called "beaters" for short) "singlets"... WTF! gah! LOL, id never heard that one before, the idea of calling a beater a white singlet seemed soooooooooooooo strange!! im a massive wifebeater whore, wear them ALL the time, usually never wear tops at all in the summer (unless i have to, ie. at work, etc.) so changing the name of such a pivotal article of clothing to me seems craZazy! hahaha

to pike it is to bounce, or to bail, or to jet, or to take off, or to 'make like a bannana and split' or 'make like a tree and leaf'

and wife beaters are known as beaters here dude. Talk to any lifeguard here and they'll all complain about their 'beater tan'.

And saying 'reckon' isn't a bad thing either. Sounding hick at the right time makes conversation more entertaining.

re: the wifebeater thingie, well, maybe it was just tessa, but her and Laura (another aussie friend she met at york) both always referred to beaters as singlets. when i first mentioned whut i was wearing was a beater, she was confused. she was like "ah, u mean singlets, i gotcha now! "

and ya, piking it... sorry, i was just using it in that one context.. ie. leaving a party.. i figured it just generally meant to leave someplace...

What the fark? I have NEVER heard any aussie refer to them as bathers. For guys, we say "boardies"(boardshorts) or "swimmers" and for chicks they would just say "swimming costume" or bikini.\

I prefer the term "wife basher", and i would say that most of my friends say the same . Then again, i would probably just say singlet most of the time.

Bathers and cossies are quite common names for swimming costumes. Sif Aussies can string two large words like swimming and costume together without the need to somehow abbreviate it.
