Phynn - Lucid/Solitude Released

Released now on 4djsonly.I've heard Lucid from TIC2 (which is very good) but OMFG,Solitude is MASSIVE.I love the electronic quitar and the main melody.There is also and an atmospheric violin melody among with a little techy melody.Frankly it's beyond words,i was shocked after hearing it.This is by far one of the best tunes of 2005.Congratulations to Phynn,this is such a beauty,buy it ASAP.And i've never given a 10/10 to a tune (except of Overload) but this tune deserves it.Simply wow

hmm, i dont really like solitude tbh, just doesn't do anything for me. I used to like lucid but i've gotten sick of that already - its one of them tunes that i love the first few times i hear it but then get bored of it really fast.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm seems not so many people like Solitude (seems like noone likes it ).Oh well,it's surely a mellow tune and i love these tunes.So maybe that's why it doesn't appeal to most people??Who knows,i still love it though,lol

I totally agree that solitude is an amazing track. Without a doubt one of my favorite tracks of the year already and probably one of those tracks I'll never get bored of. Could well become an alltime favorite. The guitar and violin combined with the melody is just like magic to my ears. His best production up untill now imo. It has kind of a melancholic sound/atmosphere, contains lots of "emotion" and just makes my thoughts fade away. It has everything I look for in trance. 10/10 !!

Any idea when "Lucid" will be available on Audiojelly and or Beatport? I have had "Solitude" for a while now since Beatport has a free download offer of it when ISOS4 was first announced. Good stuff. Been waiting for "Lucid" since TIC2, been way to long to wait for it's release IMO.

there is only one EDM track that I think is worthy of 10/10, and that's Hybrid - Finished Symphony

It all comes down to personal taste really.I love mellow tunes and i also love quitars in trance tunes so for me this is what i'm looking for.There isn't any reason not to give it the best mark as i'm addicted to it and if you've noticed any older post you would know that i don't give to every tune that i like 10/10 .Right now THIS is the best mellow trance tune of 2005 for me (with LNQ - People I Used To Know (Mike Foyle Remix)),so it deserves (for me) my 10/10

I really like Solitude, but the melody in Lucid is just to random for my taste. It kinda seems like he has just slammed some notes together.

Its not the best choon, but OK 4 an uplifting trance tune. Would give it a 7 out of 10. Love the cover of this record, nice pic again from ITWT.
B-Side is very week imo.

i'd say 10/10 was just 95% rounded up. i'd award that to nearly all of my alltime favourites

neither of these though ... the bassline on solitude grates me. lucid is nice but a bit.. bland

I like lucid the most, an hearing it on a big system would be great, id give it a 7.5/10, not a big fan of Solitude id give it a 6.5/10
