[Breaks] Krimes - Controlled (new full track 192k version)

Hey guys,

I've worked on this one since I last posted it on here and hope it's much better production-wise though the track is still open to suggestions which would be really appreciated if there are any.

I've tried to toughen it up a little so I would love some opinions on whether it's too high on the volume overall. Direct download below (right click and save target as)

Krimes - Controlled (6:48 - 192k)

Thanks

Hey mate,
Worked! Listening .... Nice Beat, I would play more with the effects on the Drums, and also paning the hats . Spooky loop voice, but it's cool .
In overall, u have really cool ideas here, I just would work more the build up, the effects and some mastering, sounds a bit simplistic right now, other than that greta track keep it up man .
Kopi =o.

Really enjoyed listening to this one! Very nice mate

I'm well into the drums, I think the top end sounds so crisp and clear - What did you use? Reason redrum by any chance? If so what samples? Love the dirty synth bass - gives it an evil vibe and atmosphere aswell as that vocal loop!!

Heres my input - I think when the drums come back in at 2:30 it needs a bit more edge... I think raising the kick drum up in volume for the drums would sort this out nicely! Also the noises you got coming in and out as the tune progresses I think if they were a touch lower in volume it'd give the drums and synth bass more room to breath. But I like how you've progressed the noise stabs, they start to liven up more as the tune gets going - 4:00 and onwards

To be honest I dont think you need to add much more mate, I was bopping to the tune all the way from start to finish because I think the drumloop sounds sick!! Maybe a bit of extra percussion can be added as the tune progresses, some congos or bongos or something =]

Hope this helps mate

Cheers for the review mate!

Just used a simple fruity drumloop and played with it and boosted on the volume and eq's. Glad your feeling the dark vibes I tried to get across with the track, I think they've worked out quite well. Not sure if I'm going to work on this quite yet, maybe after I've finished my new production. Will maybe boost it in depth just a little bit, though as you said not much I can really do with it.

Glad you enjoyed, thanks mate
