Financial BLUNDERS WTFFF

SO here's a new one for me...

I get into work and my co-workers are asking me, "Did you check your account balance?" I said, "No why?" They told me that our jobs payroll made a HUGE ass blunder...they deposited $40,000 to about 4 or 5 people's accounts, then withdrew the cash.

I just got in and checked my account, and well...See it for yourselves...

So, has anyone here had financial blunders similar to this?

my sister had a similar thing happen to her at her work once. it wasn't that much of course hehehe...i think it was just her bonus check was too big hahaha...but i think she went and spent it realy quick. i dunno if she had to pay it back though

that's pretty fu*ked. once the bank i deal with had a problem for a day or two, and i went to pay for something via Eftpos and the dude's like 'Looks like you went on a major shopping spree eh? You got nothibng in there'.. which was bullsh*t because at the time i had over $800. issue was resolved when i phoned the back asking them what the fu*k was going on lol.

When I was a construction contractor, I had a $7,800 client's check bounce at the bank due to bank error. I changed banks after that. Had to go back to building suppliers and make good my subsequent bounced checks for building supplies (i.e. lumber) to the tune of about $5,000 and my good reputation with them as well.

My little bunk regional bank where I have my checking across the street from my university once accidentally gave me an extra 2,000 USD. No complaints, right? They issued a statement declaring their error, but I had already deposited it into my credit union account, so they ended up not doing anything about it. It was pretty clutch too, cos i was down to 30 or 40 bucks.
