Hi Klang!!

Not bad!! But you need more fx sounds in parts with perkussion!!

Greetingssss from Poland

Posted by staticblue on Jun-04-2005 19:04:

cool man, only thing i dont like is the beat being a bit too hardish IMO

Posted by Klangzentrum on Jun-04-2005 22:19:

thx for the feedback guys!

Posted by Subtle on Jun-05-2005 10:57:

great work on this track..

i like it very much..

Posted by .A.Y. on Jun-05-2005 11:51:

this melody is just amazing
the original is wicked!

your remix is also good
you gave the melody a chilling feeling
which is good

one thing i would change is that ride
and also the clap (its too dry)

8/10, good job!

Posted by PutBoy on Jun-05-2005 12:55:

The intro is too strong imo. Start a wee bit weaker. The snare is too dry also I think, it doesn't sound like it fits.

Other than that: wow :|. This tune is bangin'. I think you could set the tempo a bit lower also, it's kinda too fast for me. I been listening too Mozart and Beethoven all morning so it might be me though. ;D

But it definitly hits home ;D keep it up!

Great mix!

Cheers!

@putboy: somehow it turned out harder than it was my intention! but i'm totally content with the result...

I haven't heard the orginal, but I'm really likeing this. Nice bass, uplifting melodies, percs and overall vibes. I like the nice strong kick as well.

Hey Lars!

This awesome - I love the powerful intro, good stuff. That's one solid kick!!

this remix is full of energy. You did a great job.

I think I like that dry snare

yo, trev0r!
thx for your kind words! glad you like it!

Posted by ronk on Jun-09-2005 19:15:

ok I think you need more percussions to make the track "fuller", becuase it's a bit empty.
interesting instrument in the beginning..
in the break I think you should add a bass layer even if it'd be kinda weak, and turn up the strings volume! they sound beautiful.
I haven't heard the original yet, the melody is very nice, I like it a lot.
well overall it sounds good, like a beach-kinda-track, y'know, it has a chilling feeling to it as .A.Y. said..it's like a fun track to hear when you get up in the morning

Posted by breakaholic on Jun-11-2005 12:50:

I have not heard the original but this sounds really good. Is that melody made with agogo or steel drum at the beginning, that Works great . Also the other synths works like a charm, fits with the happy melodies. Kick is really powerful, adds a lot of energy. Yeah, some extra percs wouldn't hurt but I think the mixdown is very strong now too.

Posted by [-dp-Sensuerea] on Jun-13-2005 18:25:

Not really in my style, but i think it sound quite professional. Definitely has distinctive atmosphere, which imho is too 'beach-like'. I love the original version, so your version, comparing to original is much worse. Only thing i liked is bass. Great work with this. Excellent fit in the mix.

Posted by Klangzentrum on Jun-14-2005 14:41:

thx for the feedback guys!

i'm really glad that most of you like it!

although it was to expect that not everybody will like it that much @ sensuerea!

Just showing my opinion
By the way, congrats about 'In Her Eyes' - excellent chilled track, definitely your best

no problem, i'm thankful for every feedback!

thx, glad you like that one more! there's also a really good remix of "in her eyes" by subtle ( LINK )

Sounds ok.
The build up before the drop sounds good.
How ever you need to work on the percs. The kick doesnt suit the rest of the track imo.
Good effort over all though.

Posted by Axolotyl on Jun-16-2005 02:46:

I havnt heard the original but it must be a pretty sweet track if this is any indication. That melody is kick arse. I like the steel drum sounds at the start. Is that your addition or is it from the original?

I disagree. The kick is very nice and solid and suits the track imo. Nice work with the rolls of it too.

Very bouncey, happy track. It gets a tad repeditive after a while but thats sometimes hard to avoid with track that have really noticable melodies.

Posted by Klangzentrum on Jun-16-2005 10:32:

thx slipstream and axolotyl! glad you overall like it!

i guess the track sounds a bit repetive, because it'S a very short melody...the length of bars is quite normal...

Hey mate.

Rasta mon! Love the tropical drum style.

nice percs & bass drum.

3.00 the pads are ok.
3.37 good build up.
4.00 seems like a great club track.
4.50 Love the bass.
6.55 after the onslaught of sounds, this part seems quiet in comparison.

Great work Lars. Interesting layers & good progression.
