Preperation:
A few hours ripping vinyl to mp3.
~50 Hours of effort into track selection.
7 Hours recording it live.

Method:
I've used Traktor for it so i could play some of the unreleased stuff, and some stuff that hasnt arrived here yet, and some stuff that isnt in stock anywhere
I own about 60% of all the tracks I used here.

Concept:
Showing how can one cover every level of energy using only acid records, from the softer parts of the first hour (warm up), to the funkiness that comes around the 90 minute mark, and to every other level of energy.
This is a set I would play if i had a full night to spin instead of just one slot.

Enjoy it and comment please

Thanks to Boomer & Nou for the hosting

wow...y'gat your adonis, fingers, art of trance, hardfloor, rob acid, jens, a + e dept, pergon, bam bam, plastikman, wink, misjah......and too many to list. i think the real question is who don't y'gat? i'll take a list.

WHAT is playing at 33:00 ? So atmospheric... I'm this far in and there's too many highlights. How big of a hassle would a cue sheet be? If too big, no worries! But these first 33 min. have been ACE. I need to decipher which track is which.

Ah ha! John Dahlback - Sugar. Vocals DO have advantages.

depends on what kind of acid you're into, the second half is the harder one that's for sure

i'd recommend you to get the first half, and the second one next month

i'm not that good with cuesheets, i guess i could do something in text listing when each track plays later

edit: but seriously, how strict is your isp on the dl limits?
just call them and complain, you can easily tell them what happened
or you can always threaten to leave if they dont give you that 110mb of 'credit' back

Posted by Psy-T on Jun-06-2005 07:47:

one thing i forgot to mention in my original post:

Purpose:
Evangalism, Teaching about acid in (almost) all its shapes and sizes, and about djing in general, Fighting the mentality of the quick 1 hour fix. What a real set should be like, How and why (and I dont give a fuck about the few trainwrecks I have scattered through out the set, Neither should you!)

Posted by Elior on Jun-06-2005 09:06:

downloading as we speak
