Smiling Frog Coffee or Tea? How do you take it?

I've gone weird with my tea again, having fruit teas rather than just normal stuff.
I usually drink PG tips or Earl Grey. But now im drinking lot of Pure green tea, Jasmine green tea and Blackcurrant, blackberry and cranberry tea...Its weird, but makes me feel better which is good!
Coffee wise its either the Nescafe or some "Fair Trade" coffee which is sooooo much nicer!

So what hot stuff do you usually drink?

Posted by chojin on Jun-05-2005 11:37:

i dont know brands or anything cause i rarely drink it but:

tea: milk, 5> sugar
coffee: no milk 5-7+ sugar

good stuff (Y)

Man I could talk about tea and coffee for ages...
Tea-wise I like a few Ceylon blends. Of the commercial bag black teas I think Dilmah is the best. I also like oolong and green teas, sometimes with jasmine. Japanese green tea with teh roasted rice is nice too. I don't like the fruit teas, cos ususally the flavouring is artificial and doesn't necessarily contain any fruit in it at all... and i dunno it just doesn't taste like tea . Camomile tea is nice with honey (when it's real camomile), so is chrysanthemum. Generally though I prefer a good black Ceylon tea... NEVER with milk. Milk is a sacrilege... it makes all teas taste the same.

Coffee...
Sorry to be an elitist wanker... but i can't have instant anymore. Usually its either an espresso straight up or a latte if its later on in the day.... and never rom one of those disgustng chains like starfucks or gloria jeans

Taijiquan (Tai chi chuan) is awesome... though where i live it's really hard to find someone that teaches it properly these days (with all the fighting applications and sparring etc...).

Really really strong black coffee who tastes a bit like poison for the normal person, thats my thing.

Posted by DarkAngel on Jun-05-2005 14:25:

Coffee, with 6 sugar packets.

If I drink tea, no sugar.

If I drink Iced Coffee or Iced Tea, then I need a lotta sugar.

Green tea

Posted by kr00t0n on Jun-05-2005 15:27:

I kicked the coffee habit back in 2003 when I was working beneath a starbucks and got free drinks, never looked back, so nice not having some substance decided if you function in the morning or not

I drink tea sometimes, and I love Rooi Bos (Red Bush in afrikaans) tea from SA

I drink Horlicks as often as possible

so in short

coffee

[*] coffee - half with milk and 2 and a half sugars.

I like hot chocolate once in a while. Other than that... don't like hot drinks. I can drink tea occasionally, don't like coffee at all.

If I can't get ahold of an expresso (which I drink straight up), I drink a regular coffee, with soy milk, and no sugar. Sometimes I'll go for a latte, but with an extra shot of expresso (and soy milk) always.

Tea-wise I drink Green Tea, no sugar, or a blackberry tea, no sugar (iced or hot it's the same treatment).
