Pacific Mint- Anew

hey guys whats up

i recently finished a new track called "anew". its a trancier track that darksword helped me tremendous amounts with technicality-wise so tell me what you think about it or if you have any questions. BTW let me say that until this track ive been writing like early 90's house and videogame-like tunes so keep that in mind.

Some dreamy melodies playing here. I love your melodic style bro! I'm big into hooks and nice melodies and counter-melodies like you've done here.
My biggest beef with this song (maybe its the music host) is that the whole thing sounds like it's played underwater. Not a very clean or well EQed tune. In listening to the others I'd say it may be the host or your production software.
You've got a real flare for that funky style reminescent of Ladytron and pre90's electronica. Not very trance...but who cares. Its pretty good.
YOur strength is definitely in the hooks! Which is IMO the hardest to do.
Maybe try another host, this site makes your stuff sound washed out and faded.
Breakthrough is a good tune too.

Your style is different. And that's a good thing Mint!
