Mirka Going Away Party June 18th
Mirka Moves to Calgary July 1st 
I leave for 2 monthes in the army July 4th.
This would be the last party of the summer with mirka as she will miss IMF.
Who is interested in a free outdoor party in Squamish June 18th?
If we get enough interest, we will do it.
These are the djs we have invited to play in no particular order:

Earl Von Bye - He will Fly in from Calgary

Caleb
Danny Taylor
We dont expect to get all these people, but they are all welcome.
And of course everyone is welcome, because its free. We invite our friends out for one last party before the friends break up. Tonight on Fox. I mean... later this month.

You so know I'd be there! Mirka was the first person in Vancouver to even consider let me play on her radio station, she's super cool and I really wish this news wasn't true. Too bad we didn't get to know each other better, but if life is taking you in a certain direction, go with it.
I'd so be there to play, gimme more details so I can help out with whatever needs ot be taken care of!

btw, i know where mission is now 
south or whister about 50-60 minutes from dt vancouver.
bit far away for me (richmond) considering i work weekends.
and i realize why it can't be done on any other day than a weekend, because people work weekdays.
i'll see what i can do about sunday, since i really would like to go see mirka one last time (for who knows how long)

I take it shes coming here and will be DJing?, if so dats awesome, from past posts it seems she has really made a good impact in vancitys scene, so she should help Calgarys nightlife quite abit ::thumbsup::

mirka has done so much for our community here. having run life at 140bpm for 4 years i think, or 5? she probably had one of the longest running trance shows in the city, if not the longest.
i truly admire mirka, her work and dedication to the scene. she has been my hero since the day i heard her spin. she'll be greatly missed
Yes she is leaving - trevor said they are getting a ... gasp... mortgage and everything. or something like that. anyways. Vlady and i will be taking over Life @ 140 starting july... providing we get the very hard to schedule training... we've been harrassing their tits about it for monthes, and freia the program director and i have a meeting in a few weeks to make it official. We have also invited caleb onboard as our third man... he will do the training with us and become a backup. Coincidentally, angelo now has people who can back his show up if he is sick or say, gets hit by a car. July-august it should be just vlado and caleb doing the show as i will be assuming the push-up position .
also, calgary, mirka is coming to rock your socks off, if she can.

I am sure car pools and all that could be organized , so I hope that transportation shouldnt be troubling too many people ....
I would like to see us happening large for this one at least!especially if its a nice clear night...
we have to farewell our main icon female dj in the city properly so we should really try to make this happen guys 
And it will be fun doing the radio show! I have to say that we feel very privilleged that we can continue mirkas legacy! we wont let mirka down and we will keep the show rolling smoothly for decades to come hahaha
with many guests and hopefully some interviews as well with some superstars hehe

It is so amazing reading all your wonderful posts..I have shared so much with you and loved watching everyone grow musically. There are so many memories I can't begin to describe them all. I will never forget how suppportive everyone has been. I am thrilled to have Vladi, Sean and Caleb carry on "life" it makes me smile.
I am really hoping we can make this thing happen....it would be wonderful.
Oh and one more thing............
I AM ELENA'S HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can rest now

P.S. I personally would like to hear/see Arpy play too. He was one of the first people to ever let me play in Vancouver and has been a really good friend to me ...(Tactical @Sonar) - very happy none of you witnessed.......lol
We're going to miss you Mirka. For everything you've done for each of us as a group and individually, and the community we call the Lower Mainland. It's sad to see you go, but it's a happy thing to see you grow! All the best in Calgary with your new home and loving partner!
Hopefully I get a chance to see you one last time.
Maybe I'll come out and just call in sick the next day. Or maybe try to switch with someone at work, which is pretty impossible most of the time.

and, yes, i am a retard, until very recently i didnt know where mission was
guys please announce the time when this event will take place. i still have 2 saturday shifts that i have to work. if its during the day then i'll need to come up with some lame excuse to get out of having to go to work heh
It'll be sat day until sun morning.
