Must have tracks, beats, and melodies.

I'm new to the DJ scene and trying to figure out how the big club DJ's do these dope ass live remixes. I'm guessing a lot of effects, and samples. Is there some kind of CD I can get with beats, effects, and melodies? If so what is the must have CD's/tracks that are a must have for DJ's? Thanks

no, there aren't any "Must have tracks, beats, and melodies". and what djs do "these dope ass live remixes"? i've never heard any. sample cds are for producing, not for djing. most djs just play the tunes and that's it. some might throw in a effect or two every now and then from their mixers or effects units. and then there's people like zabiela & sasha who do all kinds of tricks. but first you'd need to learn to mix properly before you can do any tricks, which mostly aren't even that special in any way (IMO at least).

DJs that do LIVE Remixes primarily arent DJs, they are LIVE acts, take... Sasha for instance, he still does DJ, but he uses Ableton.
