Kerry's 180 released - Swifties full of Sh$t

Okay, last thread, honest

Just got a quick break before the next class, so I stumbled onto a few headlines, and look what I came across:

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/w...records?mode=PF

It shows just how completely full of shit those Swifties allegations were. No surprise, really, but it does beg the question on Kerry -

John, what the FUCK were you doing sitting on this? You could have debunked this crap so quickly, but yet you didn't want to "kowtow" to their B.S. lines? Uh, John, did you not see how much these bullshit assertions put you in a hole last August? As a result of your ass being so out of touch with things, Bush is sitting back in Penn. Ave. while you're sitting with the same Senate seat you've always had. This only assures me even further that Clarke or Edwards were easily the better choices, but I digress a bit.

It does seem, however, that he may have been protecting his "D" grades, which at the time were worse than Bush's lackluster report card at Yale:

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/a...luster_student/

But he did later become a top student at the Naval Candidate School. Pretty piss-poor excuse for him to hide his 180 if that were the case.

So that's that. School's already kicking my ass. Quizzes and practicals all lined up for the next 2 weeks. WTF, man? Throw my ass back in the real world where I can slack off more!

Things that make you go hmmmmm, and then hahahah!

In all seriousness, it's worth questioning why he didn't come out with this. He was always very cagey about what he wanted released, and I don't think lackluster grades would be the only reason to sit on this since he wasn't running against Einstein.

Additionally, Kerry has one of the worst college mug shots I have ever seen. I'd kick the guy in the teeth if he looked at me like that.

Now go back to class!

All I know is they both look like members of the adams family in thouse pictures

But yeah they seem to have similar grades. Personally though I always do "just enough" at uni maybe he was the same anyway.

I've got no reason to need to get grades better than the min. I don't need to prove anything and I like doing other things too much, uni is just a ticket to better jobs. They could have thought the same.

In short bad grades don't translate to dumb people.

But as you say Kerry should have defended himself better. I'd suspect though he'd have been following a policy derived by someone else during the election so perhaps he isn't directly to blame?

Well gee, he could be a man of *shock* principle. You know, that thing that bush likes to say a lot in all of his speeches. I seem to recall Bush saying he was against releasing his records, but capitulated under the pressure.

Reminds me of that army addage. Before going to war the ones who had the biggest "tough guy" image were usually the ones found cowering at the bottom of the trench when it came time to climb the ladder. The quiet guy, on the other hand, was the one leading the charge into battle.

But when you don't get voted in you don't even make it to the battlefield.

Right ... well we picked the guy cowering in the trench to lead us. It's a lesson learned (or ignored) by us .

YESSS! Thats who I was thinking of. And bush looks like an older version of the little dracula kid guy in the old series.
