I'm in too...
Does anyone know if I can use atmosphere on this track?
"Submissions including other copyrighted material will be disqualified."
Spectronics claim all samples as thier own and they are copyrighted.
You can only use them with credits...

Posted by DJ_Audun on Jun-10-2005 12:15:

Meh, I thought this was "only with you". Why would they want a remix competition for this track now?

is this true??? damnit, so when a song is produced and released on a label and atmosphere is used, you have to put the name of the vst in the credits? anyone got an example of this with a famous producer who used atmosphere?

Posted by wink on Jun-10-2005 17:04:

you can use atmosphere on your productions only if you bought the software. once you buy it the samples are yours for your own projects only.

nice track ... gonna try this for fun .. erm any1 know what a .DS_Store file is

Posted by djyouth on Jun-10-2005 20:17:

An indexing file for a Mac folder. It means the archive has been made with a Mac computer.
You dont need it and wont get use for it either.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think Estuera used the preset "Comet star" from atmosphere in one of his song, maybe tales from the south..
Dont know if he mentionned it...

Armin, Ferry Corsten and Roland van Gelderen uses Atmosphere, Trilogy and Stylus..

i dont think that will be any problem.. besides.. u dont really "own" any VST at all.. u only own the permission to use it..

hmm ... I was alway wondering if that Vocal-Synth-Sound in Waterplanet "Instrospection" is from Atmosphere. I dont have Atm., but one of the demos sounds somehow the same.
was always thinking about that
... and theres nothing noted on that vinyl

is this song even out yet? because i've never heard this before. has it been played in ASOTs?

Posted by Jay M on Jun-15-2005 11:21:

No it was made a long time ago, in 2001 or so.. And it's released back then but not too many people know the track.. But does anybody have a sample of the original?? Just the mainpart in 96 kbps is fine

Posted by Project 7 on Jun-15-2005 11:27:

Kenny hayes uses a preset on atmosphere for his pads.
