how do most guys here make those dreamy style trance piano sounds?

im using pro 53

you know the kinds of piano sounds youd here in dream progressive trance.

experiment with effects, especially with filters and delay. Also, don't forget your oscillators.

Not sure I know what you mean really, but if I got you correctly:

lots and lots of effect. Other than filters and delay, I would say chorus. For dreamy sounds in general you should use some really freaky settings. Two delays for example, one 1 step delay, and a 3 step delay. Random panning also adds to the dreamy sounds. Like a peak controller controlling the pan, so that the louder it gets the more it pans left, or right.

But there's really so much you can do. With dreamy sounds there is no boundaries, maybe that's why a lot of people like to use them.

Synapse Hydra is very nice for these kind of sounds + its pretty easy to use

if you mean that dreamy trance piano like in Robert Miles Children,
Veracocha Carte Blance or Luke Terry's Broken Promises (George Hales RMX) you should take a multisample piano. You won't get a decent paino sound with Pro 53...
