Appreciation
So many people don't appreciate what they have. If you have friends and people who care about you, food, clothing, health, etc. then you should be happy. If you have half those things you should be so lucky, hell if you can read this then you're lucky enough to have power and to be on a computer.
I envy those who have no money and practicaly no posessions because of how happy a lot of them are. I'm sure people in Afrika aren't batteling anorexia and there isn't so much teen suicide, etc.
I understand that there's so much stress in the world over what you should be wearing, how you should be acting, impressing people, etc. but sometimes you just have to sit back and look at the bigger picture.

ive noticed a lot of women do this:
close a statement off so no topic is there
"This is a really cool painting isnt it? I think it is"

instead hey do you like this painting, what about it?
----
for this thread maybe "What are some moments in your life that made you step back and appreciate"
-----

Recently ive been appreciating life alot more. It took me till this point of my life to do so. Back when I was younger I used to ride my motorcycle like a moron. Do the craziest shit I could think of. I truly thought I was immortal & was the best rider in the world & could never die. The day after I preached that to all my friends, I hada life threatening motorcycle accident. I wiped on the highway doing 100mph with no helmet & just a t-shirt & jeans. I had no broken bones & only severe road rash & after a year it was all totally 100% healed. After the accident (like 3 weeks) i still thought like a moron & got on my friends bike when I still had bandages on my hands & arms. After that I didnt appreciate life still. Rollin every weekend & having my life revolve around clubs, drugs & women. Now im thinking different. Im just focusing on my career & I am realizing how so many people in this world never had a 1/100th chance at life that ive had. Now the past few months ive been donating to alot of charities & trying to give something back to society. I know its not much but its what I can do for being so fortunate compared to some others. But even though when I did party , every news years resolution was not about me, it was about the world. I made new years resolutions to stop litering & shit. Even made on a few years ago to stop sleeping around & have some morals. Ive been tight on all of em since.

In the long run you will be just as happy with the stuff that you have, as you would be if you lost all the stuff you had. You are basically getting into a "quality" of life argument.
