What happened to the girl who wrote her # on a receipt??

Hey all,
There was a thread about a week back about a girl who went to a restaurant with her friend/boyfriend and then wrote her number down for the waitress because she thought she was a cool chick but was worried about freaking her out. Just curious if that chick ever called her back bc that thread became huge and nothing ever came of it. That and I'm bored at work

I didnt see that thread but the same/similar thing happened to me before. I was out with my bf....met a really cool waitress she was were friendly and talkative and seemed to have the same interests as me, she didnt talk much to my bf. I am not a lessy but she was hot too. She gave me her # and my bf at the time actually got jelous and took it away (was written on the receipt and he paid) thinking that she was interested in me LIKE THAT

Yes he was threated by a hot chick and I dont even go that way hehehe.

yea she never called. oh well. but i DID go to this big sports bar near where i live last saturday to watch the heat game, and our cocktail waitress was adorbale and bubbly and once again, we totally hit it off talking...only this time i verbally asked her for her number and said we should hang out and she was totally down

talked to her yesterday actually and we're gonna hang out this weekend. she seems really cool

when i called her for the first time, i was just hoping to get her voicemail cuz i just wanted to leave my number with her that way she had mine too...but her boyfriend answered and was like, "who is this" and i sort of laughed and i was like, "well she might not remember my name, but i met her at Gatsby's last saturday..." and he totally cut me off and was like, "oooh yea! hey i heard about you"

so i guess she was excited to meet me too and told her bf about me...so that's good

Actually, I'm a waitress in my spare time, and I meet a lot of really fun people, but I always think it'll be weird if I say that we should hang out. Unfortunately numbers get left on napkins, or credit card receipts all the time for me (which doesn't make sense, because the numbers that are left behind are usually from the people I spoke to the LEAST).

Funny story... one day this guy Matt left his number on the credit card receipt. It said "Hey you seem like a really nice girl and I'd like to get to know you, here's my number 555-5555, Matt". Now had Matt actually spoken to me, maybe I would have called, but the fact that he was mute and I wasn't attracted to him were two strike outs. Well I did my check out at the end of the day and totally forgot about the whole incident... until the next day when my boss said he called the number as a joke to freak the kid out. My BOSS called, and when Matt answered he said "Hi! This is your server from the other day... you left your number on the receipt!" Apparantly this Matt guy got really freaked out and started spazzing. I don't think he ever came into our place again.

no i don't like chicks like that. i don't really get sexually arroused by them at all...i just can appreciate them and their beauty type of thing. and i rarely come across a female who seems tomboyish and really cool...they're all really catty and annoying down here.

It�s a good thing when a girl can get along with other girls. Some girls are so anti other girls and only hang out with guys. I believe there is something wrong with a girl if she can�t hold a conversation with another girl. I too have gotten real excited when i meet another cool chick, that wasnt just all about makeup and boys. Its fun to have other girls to go out and raise hell with.

i'm with u 110%. i have always been "one of the guys" with my guy friends and usually the bf's friends...but i really do just think guys are more interesting and fun and laid back, but it's not because i HATE all girls and am jealous of them. i get SOOO happy when i think i've met a new girlfriend because i really crave that bond that you get with the right female friend. i need a shopping partner and someone i can talk to about dumb shit that guys don't usually have the tolerance for. i'm 50/50 when it comes to being a guy's girl and a girl's girl...i'm definitely both.

Yep-same here. I grew up hanging out with mostly guys but have always had at least one or two close girlfriends around, just to satisfy that girl bond that we still need. If a girl hangs out with mostly boys, then that is cool, but she has to at least have one or two girlfriends around or she just aint right.

Yeah you�re right. Girls that have been traumatized throughout school can get like that. And think that they can't trust other girls. Other girls that may have made fun of them because their too tall or their hair isn�t pretty, or stolen their boyfriends away. lolol Girls can be very vindictive at times.
