[Breaks] Krimes - The One That Got Away (full 192k)
Hey guys,
Yet another one from me here with a kinda electro feel to it this time, quite a bit tougher than my other productions too. There a couple of things I feel I need to sort out but lets see if you notice them.

Krimes - The One That Got Away (5:54)
Thanks
Hey man,
Listening ... Your drums sound way better now, clearly u took off all that saturated reverb
. Your style it's pretty cool man, very powerful. When u will have ur full album done I will burn it to practique Kick Boxing :P.
One note, try to add every 8 beats reverb to the snare, that will give more variation to the drums, you know, for example:
x-x-x-x x-x-x-(XLot of reverb).
Going very cool, also maybe a piano would fit, keep the good work mate
.
Kopi =o.
Thanks for the review again mate.
Will work on the suggestions you've made there. Going to experiment with the piano part and see how it sounds. Any more reviews?
Thanks.
Cool bassline, sounds quite industrial-ish with retro feel. Nice!
Honestly, the beat is a bit boring in the long run. I'd consider adding another percussive element, or at least add some more variation, this will bring some improvement to your beat.
Nice panning and stuff tho
.. Keep it up!
Yeah I agree it does need a bit more variation, which is why I opted in losing the breaks for a little bit a few times within the track but will work on the variation side of things.
Thanks for the review mate
Really nice track, like the sounds in it.
Personally I think it works well as a more minimal kind of sound, everyone seems to think that every track people make on here has to be the biggest tune... it doesn't!
The breakdown at 1:43 sounds a bit dry, maybe slap a load of reverb on the sounds on top of the bass? Maybe the bass could do with a bit itself.
The sound at 2:43 is cool but starts to get a little bit annoying after a while, try just using it for a couple of bars at a time or vary it by stuttering it and putting effects etc on it or something.
Good all the same though.
6/10
(Scale: 0 = don't bother, 1-3 = needs work, 4-5 = nearly there, 6-8 = releasable, 9-10 = I'd play it)
Thanks for the review, really appeciated
Yeah what I'd be hoping for with my tunes some day is a good solid production, doesn't necessary have to be a killer track as such as long as the production is the best I can make it I'm happy
I've worked on a new version with a couple of your suggestions there along with others so will post that in this thread soon.
Thanks
