Where to buy a Sony Md mz-r900?

Hey

I'm looking for a reliable place to buy a sony minidisc either off the internet or at a store in the New York region. I'm going to have it shipped to a friend in New York who is going to bring it over the boader into Canada for me.

Daaayam!! How did he manage to do that?

Posted by AnotherWay83 on Dec-02-2001 07:23:

well, they had an offer i think where the purchase of the second MD with the purchase of sum other special MD would get u the second one free or sum shit like that, and the other one, well, his gf also jumped on the MD bandwagon, and this chic is loaded, so she got one, didnt get it on time, called them up, so they sent her another one, but in the meantime the first order got processed, so she ended up with TWO Mds for the price of one and she sent it to him...lol...and the best part, he's gonna give ME one of the MD players since now he's got four in all!!!!

peace

Hey, guys if we get a couple of guys together, maybe we can get a group buy thing going with minidisco.

My buddies have done group buy things before when they want to purchase items to do up there cars.

It works on a simple principle, the more people in on the buy the more units purchased, therefore a cheaper price.

I was looking at the Mz-r900 over the Mz-r909, but then lMIlk
mentioned the new Mz N1 which will be released on December 10 2001.

Well these are just ideas...and Christmas is just around the corner.

I just got the basic MZ-R500. I like it, plays, records in stereo, mono, LP2, or LP4, and they all sound good.

my only bitch is that it goes thru batteries so quickly. it says 48 hours of playback, and 8 of recording.

I get more like 16 of playback, and 2 of recording if I am lucky.
and it's inconsistent too, the battery will say 100%, I'll go to record a set, then it dies 30 minutes in. later I turn it on, and it's fine.

it also skips a bit, like if I am jogging or something.
and the earphones are shit, I just plug my big DJ cans into it. hmm, that's probably what is draining the battery eh?

anybody else have these problems? would I be better off taking it back and getting a higher model?

i don't really see how the 909 is much better then the 900. IMO it looks uglier but has a stand and looks more durable.

yes get hte 900
