Any good bedroom dj's wanna get their sets online? - we've just got a media server setup at Telehouse in docklands right on the Uk backbone & we need .mp3 format mixes - no higher than 128kb/sec (frankly 64k/sec is plenty ok for radio-play and allows more listeners simultaneously)

Anything goes any genre - we would also welcome if possible mixed sets of released AND unsigned tracks which would be cool.

Live sets can be done soon, but for now while we setup we can take pre-recorded sets. At least 45 minutes please.

added sets will not be removed unless requested so it's a good free way to get your long sets online for streaming instead of download - the server only delivers media, no sites hosted on the server.

oh yeah, just to say, this isnt going to be here one day and then suddenly gone in a few months. we've been online for almost 10 years and the media server is a permenent facility.

Put this into IE address bar:

ftp://[email protected]/

username = dtstuff
password = dtstuff

then just drag & drop your file onto the IE screen. If it's all slow, come back later, someone else must be uploading or more than one person is uploading etc.

after the ftp upload, what would be the link to the file and could it be downloaded and streamed or just streamed ?

the file sstream from server via an m3u file so if someone knew how they could download it although we dont add a d/load link
