Looking for Intermediate/Senior PHP Programmer
Ok, since I know a lot of us are computer geeks here, some of you (or someone you know) might be interested.
The company I work for is looking for Intermediate/Senior PHP Programmers for a contract (at least 2-3 months for now) in the Concord/Vaughan area. If accepted, you will be involved in the development of an already underway nation-wide sports related project with a national organization. There is the possibility of a permanent full-time position once the project is launched.
Must have skills:
- Web design components knowledge: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Comfortable in Linux (Any dist.)
- At least 3 years of professional experience with PHP.
- At least 6 months of PHP 5 experience or Java experience.
- At least 3 years of SQL experience (MySQL 4.1 under InnoDB).
- Proven experience of OOP Design Patterns (Specially MVC as related to web applications).
- Ability to, after minimum training, jump into a big project and start contributing ASAP.
Bonus skills:
- Knowledge of Mojavi 3 (MVC framework - http://mojavi.org)
- Knowledge of Propel (Object Persistence toolkit - http://propel.phpdb.org)
- CSS Table less layouts

Dude, I highly doubt anyone with that experience would be unemployed right now or futhermore looking for a 3 month contract.

Have you tried posting your request in http://www.phparch.com/discuss
We are based in Toronto and from what I hear, people get good candidates for jobs by posting on our PHP specific forums.
