Favourite Cape Crusader flick

In lieu of tomorrow's release of the 5th batman movie: Batman Begins, which was your favourite Batman movie?

I'd say the first one was the best, very dark and creepy.

I hope Christian Bale does a good job. Loved his performace in American Psycho.

That was one dark and exciting and highly impressive for its time when it came out. It's STILL amazing to watch. All the other ones seemed have less quality or integrity to me, esp. the one w/ Arnold in it (whatever that one was called).

Jack Nicholson was sooooooooooooooooooooo good as the Joker!

Great movie.

Not much doubt about it, of the previous Batman flicks, the first one ruled! Batman is supposed to be DARK not CAMPY (arrrgh... sticks needles in Adam West doll)

I've read a few reviews of Batman Begins and it sounds good... back to the darkness that a good Batman flick demands! As bad as the other Batman films got, there are a few underated aspects of the sequals (except Batman and Robin... ugh). Michelle Pfeiffer in leather... Mmmmmm... pause for fantasy... Jim Carrey was good as The Riddler (should have been The Ridalin) - completely manic! Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face was good too, although, you could see the Joker ripoff in his character.

the first two were definatly the best ones. Tim Burton is a dark man, and the themes he put through out the movies, really fit batman's character.

all the other bat man movies, were much too colourful.

Yea very true. I really do hope this latest instalment in the batman movies goes back to being a darker theme more similar to the first one.

Much too colourful, and id say much too fantastical too (ie. especially for the arnold/mr. freeze one) is a good way to describe those
