Six Senses - E-minor (techtrance)
Hello fellow producers,
I wanted to post this track i've finished half a year ago or so.It's a kind of tech-trance track, not something i produce often. I really want to make the track better. Maybe you guys have got some comments on how to make it a floorfiller
Please open the file by clicking the right button and then save target as, because otherwise it won't work. (lycos)here's the link:

looking forward to your comments.

The first thing that stuck me about this, was the high quality of the mix. Everything gels together as it should.
Having said that, it does suffer musically from a lack of direction. The main lead is fine, but monotonous. There are no motifs to answer the lead and relieve the tension. It sounds like one very long build-up. Maybe two extra elements and little change in structure and I could easily see this on compliation CD.

This sounds very full and the low end really feels good. Nice hardtrance production, will do a good thing on the dancefloors in holland. Maybe some more extra fx with the lead or a stabby other synth to hook it all up.
Good quality!
Sure, for example at measure 69, you could vary the lead over 4 meaures by say rising a few semitones and at the same time playing an arp counter to that. Standard stuff really.
honestly, im not really into techtrance, but this is very good sebastiaan, quality track as usual from you
as you mentioned, try adding another arplead to the track to make it a bit more interesting and it should be a floorfiller
respect mate, good luck with the track,
looking forward to our collaboration

Even at 96Kbps I can feel it!
Supreme mastering pal.You can feel the energy of the track very clear!Until the last min is perfect at all points (synths-bass-beat-atmosphere)and I suppose that you are thinking about how you will make the change.Maybe give a priority for 1 -1:30 min to a crazy beat and then...you know! You are the master

a very well made tune, i'd go as far as saying it doesnt even sound amature in the slightest...
...although the obviously the major problem is it sounds like rvdb has made a new remix of something and this is it!
maybe you could make some sorta melody from those stabs (prefereably something evil as far as im concernd
) it would be good. you obviously have talent now innovate dont immitate
First of all it's nice to see something other than uplifting/melodic trance here, maybe thats just me cos I'm going off it a lot but whatever.
Like others said it does remind me of RvdB a lot, maybe a bit too much, but keep improving and your sound should become more distinguished.
Ride cymbal (the one that comes in at the end of the breakdown) sounds a bit bad to me, bad sample maybe? Or maybe it's just the low bitrate or me being fussy
Oh and if you have any tips for making these kind of tunes (especially beat/percussion wise) it would be nice to know, since I'm digging the tech-trance a lot these days.
Anyway apart from the RvdB-ness, it's a really good tune, right up my street. Just keep it up, your beats & bass are so nice and energetic
