DJ Software

I need some good DJ software that have like virtual turntables on them possibly. Basically something good to start out and create sets so I get a feel for the transitions before I actually go out and buy the real stuff. I just need some names of great software that you guys recommended

Thanks =)

FL and Reason for Djing?

I don't think so mate.

Traktor Dj Studio 2 or Ableton Live 4 are the ones.

tractor if you want to be close to a disk jockey in terms of the person who selects the disks
other people are dancing /flerting/breaking up/goin mental/partying/taking drugs to.
ableton if
-you like computers

-you own a fast computer/laptop

- you really cant mix

-you like sasha too much

you own felix da housecat -watching cars go by (sasha remix)

-you have some basic production skills

-you actually think that ..you....can produce/remix music on..the fly...
and blur the lines between ..the stage ant the studio..yep
its gonna get ...blurry.....

-you want to get some arranging ideas before you use a real sequencer

TRACTOR 2.6 Is worth a purchase and you can use it with the real stuff later on.
What more do you want?

Virtual DJ is good.

what about BPM Studio Pro? IMO it's the best one if you want to learn the dj'ing "skills", like turn off the BPM counter and it works exactly like hardware cd players...

cause if you learn traktor and later decide to upgrade to a real equipment you will have to start from scratch
