Evil1 A shelf of rejected CD's

Is it just me, or do you also find that about half of all the CD's that you buy eventually appear on the "rejected" shelf?

These are CD's that I don't listen to, and didn't really like when I first got them... they are disappointments.

not especially. i only buy cds from artists i respect, and even then only after ive heard most of the stuff on them to make sure they dont suck. they only time i dont get to listen to them is when my friends steal them...see Tiesto - ISOS2...late/

i've got a few of those i bought off of Amazon....shitty music...i listened to the samples and sounded cool, in reality the tunes are shitty....i'm taking another load of CDs to wherehouse to trade in for a new trance/progressive (dave seaman) cd...

I generally like the CDs I'm buying, but at the same time I DL a lot of livesets/new stuff that I just *have* to listen all the way through for finding that 5% of it, that's actually worth having - so I have too little time to listen to my beloved CDs these days. Hopefully this will change now that shadow-zone is gone, and sound revolution has made their tracks almost inaccessible.
The only real dissappointments I've bought this last couple of years is the newest Leftfield and RMB-albums. Both were bought on the strengths of their predecessors - I hate it when artists suddenly change style.
