Nye 2002

I know it's kind of early, but I just was wondering what everybody is doing for new year's. Looking at the teamhardcore site, there's three confirmed parties happening:

Experience (in Richmond)
NYE Basher (PNE)
and Hard Attack 2

Just wondering if anyone's hitting any of these parties up.
Originally the party at the PNE looked pretty happenin' but Experience is also tempting....decisions, decisions

I am going to Exert's NYE Bash. No disrepect to Twisted but I think there will be problems with their venue.

Ya, but how much? I don't think I could afford a plane ticket. Or if you are just posting that to brag. You lucky bastard!

Posted by <tuss> on Dec-04-2001 08:30:

yeah it was kind of a joke more than me bragging, i don't brag much, but if anyone else was headin out there it would be sweet to chill or something.

Idea

Fuck you robes. Hook me a ticket robes

just jokin I know that you can't and that's OK because it looks like Me, Chig, and Rich are going down to seattle to see PVD and Christopher Lawerence spin at the Seattle MASSIVE. It isn't godskitchen new yers but it will ease my pain.

Posted by <tuss> on Dec-04-2001 20:04:

sweet when did you come up with that plan?

Posted by Te Ka on Dec-04-2001 23:26:

We came up with it 2 days ago right after we found out we couldn't go with you. i was on this site and saw that PVD was going to Seattle so i checked out the details and it just happend to be the only all ages show on his whole US tour(because we're only 20), so we are going now eithier by flight to Vancouver and then by bus or what we'll most likley do, drive and spend new years in Van city.

Posted by jesten on Dec-05-2001 02:34:

I am heading there also. We should meet up there.

Posted by Te Ka on Dec-05-2001 04:16:

That's funny because it's true. The poster for Chris Lawrence next week called him a progressive house pioneer. Wasn't his last album called 'The United States of TRANCE'. Who are these people trying to fool?

Posted by Special_K on Dec-10-2001 07:11:

Ill be at Exerts party at the PNE. Twisted's headliners didnt show for there last two partys and Im pretty sure the richmond city council did NOT approve twisted's venue, shitty for people with tickets to that

Posted by jesten on Dec-11-2001 01:37:

According to Clubvibes, the Twisted party is running 2pm - 2am. ohhh, that sounds like fun.

Posted by Special_K on Dec-11-2001 06:18:

Yep 2pm - 2am. thats pretty retarded for a NYE party. Ill be at Exert's party at the PNE

Posted by shylock_one on Dec-15-2001 09:51:

does anyone know the price on the exert party?
I heard it was at $100. If it is, I'm out then cause there's no way I'm paying a hundred for Graham Gold

Posted by Special_K on Dec-15-2001 21:39:

i think tickets are like 80 bux or somthing. Man its NYE EVERYTHING in this city is expensive, there are night clubs charging wall over a hundred bux and club events end at 2. This party is going to be by far the biggest even in the lower mainland plus it goes for 12 hours.

Posted by shylock_one on Dec-16-2001 02:11:

yeah, you have a point there
.....still thinking about it.........

Tix are about 76 bux I belive. My advise to you is if you go, by tix sooner than later. Soon they will be 85 bux and probably 100+ at the door.

Rasta

Me and chig are going to be in Van city for NYE where do you locals recommend we go?

Posted by Special_K on Dec-19-2001 22:08:

Com to the PNE colliseum, its going to be ther biggest party in the lower mainland....shouold be well over 5000 people. tixs will be hella expensive at the door so get tghem in advance

Dancing Dude

What Clubs in town have a trance Vibe NYE in Vancouver. Are there any really cool clubs in Van city we could hit.( lots of lazers and cool lights and shit like that.)

Posted by jesten on Dec-20-2001 01:47:

Clubs with a trance vibe on NYE, well I don't think you will find anything. During the week no prob but on NYE I dought it. Im with S/K I recommend coming down to the PNE. I'll be there probably at the front gate burning tix again like I was at Nasty3. The music maybe not trance orientated but if you want CRAZY lights and a killer sound system(anybody at Nasty3 knows what I am talking about)you should check it out.

Peace

If not trance at clubs what are some cool top 40 bars just incase we get stuck.
