Infusion in NYC

has anyonbe been to this venue? anyway i did some research on the place it looks cool...
Rothko
good news, altho i personally hate the rothko.. what a shithole with an even shittier sound system.
The Scene
The minimalist, read: place is a cement garage high-ceilinged, no insulationred-walled space would make a nice backdrop for a couple of Rothko paintings there are no paintings, tho there Should be some, which vibes well with the crowd of artists and musicians billburg and east village wannabe apple g4 GEEKS who don't even know how to note read who gather to watch fresh-faced bands i dunno, ulrich schnauss was pretty sweaty and old.. jam on the back stage. Perched high above the main room, DJs often warm the crowd up or close out the night with more random tunes than my pantry has cans of soup, but this bar is about the bands, not the backspin. A couple of padded church pews i didn't see any line the periphery of the main room, and several more can be found downstairs, where the bathrooms are hiding in grossness where they will stay.
is the venue that bad!?!?
i really wanted to go!
Plus Steve Porter...
ugh i can't stand porter's 2 minute mixout-this goes no where-funk
(heard it friday at porterhouse in boston)
anybody going to check this out???
its worth it to see infusion.. they're great doing their thing live. not me, im broke and can't make it to nyc for this . . .
lawlerskatez, id love to see infusion and lawler but yet again this falls slightly before my birthday. 14 more days

Hmm I heard the place wasn't too bad but there are always mixed opinions
Did anyone go? I was planning to, but my girlfriend's been sick in bed for 2 days now and she thought she'd pass out on the dancefloor if we went.
