This is my dilemma
If I open pro-53 as a stand alone application and load a midi, the sound is clear and loud, on the other hand if I load it in fl studio as a vst the sound, sounds almost muffed/muted not as clear, is this just fl studio's poor sound engine, or will is sound better if I use it in a different host??
Seems to happen with all my vst's
Well, try to take a look whether the vst is 'velocity'-sensitive on the amplitude or filter cutoff. In the Pro53 and in many other vsts there's an option to bind the velocity to the amplitude. FL Studio draws the velocity of the notes in the piano roll always at 78%. Could that be the problem?
I'll give it a try when I get home, I think I have an idea of what you are talking about lol
So basically go to the piano roll and move the velocity up all the way for all the notes?
prof and amatuer
the difference between clowning around in ure bedroom and being tiesto sasha digweed is simply use proffesional gear.... l'll put it like this do u think AVB....teisto....etc etc uses reason, fruit loops
its like using windows media player and wave lab to play a tune....wave lab sounds 100 times better cau its designed for audio
fruit loops and reason are very good but the engines they are built on are cheap and affect the sound
on the plus side though laim howlett...milo use reason so dont be dishearted if these all you have.
i love misinformation
