my lastest tune when mixed down and finished sounded very low all the levels sounded right but at a low level... played it in all the players i had then played it in soundforge and wavelab and it nearly blew the head off me ......

any reason for this?

i take it that as wavelab and soundforge are designed for audio that they are the ones i should go by..........

The way those programs send Audio to your soundcard is all the same.
However you can load up winamp and check whether sound is being sent via "waveOut Output" or via "DirectSound Output".

Mess around with those 2.
usually waveOut is the way to go.

make sure your programs aren't trying to add eq.
