Good sample cd's to recomend?

Hello,
Does anyone have any good sample cd's to recomend?
Mainly drums, good drums for melodic/progressive-trance for example.
The price range should be about maximum 250$.

Only CD i can actually recommend is the Synthetic Drums series by Native Instruments.

I've heard the Vengeance Club Sounds Vol. 1 is good for trance.

You could buy an analog monosynth with that money... There's lots of good samples lieing around the net. In Vip Zone for example. As for cd's, Primesounds Funky Future is good, but it's loops only.

I would rather get a couple of sample CD's..

Vengeance Essential Clubsounds Vol.1, Vengeance FX Vol.1 and FX Pearls Vol. 01 are the ones i would have bought..

only thing I have is that NI Synthetic Drums stuff and to my mind there a good and different samples in it, not just the normal stuff. So it won't be wasted money anyway

Just got Vengeance essential club sounds volume 1 and recommended this to anyone. To get a feel of the quality head over to
www.vengeance-sound.de and check out the sample sounds better than a lot of released stuff.

Yeah, the Vengeance Sounds CDs are great. I would buy them if I produced a lot, but I don't...so I cannot justify spending the money, hehe.

I find that when i produce and don't use Vengeance to produce my trax with, they always end up without the 'professional' sound!

Is there any other cd out there that has the sound quality etc that these do ?

I know lots of Sample CD, but the quality of Vengeance Sounds is the best in my opinion. If you are really interested in synth sounds for building leads and melodies you should spend some money for a hardware synth.

Sample based VSTis:

You also might like to check Spectra Sonics Triology (good bass sounds in there) or Atmosphere (Awesome Pads).
Ultra Focus Soundbank seems to have lots of nice synthsounds too.
And Plugsounds has lots of nice natural sounds.

without a doubt the vengeance club sounds vol.1 is probably the best sample cd i own, full of top quality samples.

here is a few that i own and therfore reccomend them

Vengeance Club Sounds Vol.1
Native Instruments Synthentic Drums 2
Zero-G EZ Rollers Drum and Bass
Mutekki Media FX Samples FX Pearls Vol.01
Mutekki Media Diamond Vocals Vol 2

there is also

Sony Trance NRG 2, but im not as impressed with this one as i am the others.

cant wait for the 2 new vengeance cd's to be released
