Hey guys,

Just wanted to let y'all know that I posted a trance megamix that I made on the newsgroup:

IMO it's a pretty good mix, and of course I'm OPEN to feedback good or bad. This is my early christmas present to all you TA's who've helped me keep up with what's great in the Trance scene. Since my h/d crash a couple weeks ago, you guys have helped re-build my library, and this megamix is just for j00 guys

Also, pls keep in mind I'm NOT A DJ, only a hobbyist, but I do know what sounds good, and I think this is a decent mix.

If i was mixing this i would start off with some Vocal Pref Female , maybe a bit of lange etc, then some hard beats then kick into gouyella , still with vocal's , id bring in some of the later tunes before , then play em later , a bit of reversing and shit , good track list , might try it sometime . well I got only 2 responses from people that actually d/l'ed and listened to my megamix, and they both thought it was good Thx for the advice Rozzer, but I can't stand vocals in trance, so I only put a couple songs with vocals/samples in the mix.

I think the thing I need to get a better feel for is finding the right songs to go together. In terms of 'mood' I guess. It also sucks cause the software I'm using doesn't allow much in terms of pitch control, so I've gotta find the 'right' place to mix or songs that are very close in beats.

burns, what doesn't look good about it? is it the track list? I'm interested...

Thx Rozzer for the kind words I'm actually continuuing with this mix, trying to fill up a 74 min cd. I've added a few tracks so far and am up to 58 minutes or so. I can actually stream this over the net too () but I'm not too sure how my crappy 56k Cable connection would handle it.

Eventually I'll have a mix that's cdr-able At least one that's worth putting on a cdr (like I hope this one once finished will be)
