Software for Beginners

Hello all. I�ve been a fan of electronic music for over 2 years and in that time have gathered quite a library of music.

I would now like to be able to do some mixing of tracks, and be able to nicely blend one track into the next (i.e., cross fading). I am in no way a DJ but am rather doing this as a hobby so nothing too advanced is required.

Would you have any software suggestions that would do this for me? Of course, preferably the software being free or cheap.

I did some searching around but couldn�t really find anything and I thought this would be a good place to ask since there are DJs hanging around here.

From what I saw, Trakor is only for the Mac. I am downloading the demo version of Ableton right now.

Anyone else have any suggestions? Are there any free solutions for hobbyists like myself?

Traktor is indeed for the PC also, I used to use it and it's pretty good.

I have Traktor for PC. Its pretty good. For some reason I can't cue on it very well, but maybe that's because I suck. There is also a program called virtual DJ, but that seemes to be more simplistic.

For a begginer i would say Virtual DJ because it is free or get dssdj because it is powerfull yet simple and very cheap, great value for money there.
