People who make threads like this need to be smacked...

You dont even need to click the search button, just look up at the stickies!

Vlad is on the ball.

There's one big sticky on the subject. It'll answer all your questions and even tell you what tunes you must buy

The Record/DIGITAL DOWNLOAD Store List

And just incase you make a silly thread like, which ones are good or bad...

Dodgy Online Record Stores

there should be a way to filter threads like this out

like if you create a thread with site and vinyls in the title, and then press submit, a little window will appear and do the bitching for us.

Its like bitch please that threads been done a thousand times then an animated .gif of a dead horse being beaten.

cut him/her some slack....

if you think it's dumb, then either don't respond, or politely refer to the stickied thread.

bashing a nooB doesn't make you any cooler....whoopdedoo, i know my way around TA, i'm special...

Posted by Nbrablec9 on Jun-22-2005 05:47:

i'm not gonna criticize like the rest......i noticed ur from the U.S ... I would recommend either dancerecords.com or vitalvinyl.com..... vital vinyl has a smaller selection but personally the records are fuckin amazing!!!! satelliterecords.com is also a pretty good site ,, but they tend to be out of stock on alot of the records i'm always looking for.....vital vinyl is out of Minneapolis Minnesota , dancerecords is out of cali , and satellite is ouuta New York ...

Does this man come to your jobs and tell you how to flip your burgers? No. So STFU and let the man ask his question.

www.chemicalrecords.co.uk and
www.juno.co.uk are the only major ones I can recommend to you. If you want more specific ones, look at the stickie.

^hey assholes, that's how you reply to his question. Not: "OMFG I WANNA BEAT A HORSE TO DEATH BECAUSE OMFG YOUR SUCH A FAG FOR DOING THIS THREAD. SOME GUY FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD DID THE EXACT SAME THREAD YESTERDAY AND ITS GONE NOW, BUT OMFG LETS FIND A GAY FORUM .GIF AND MAKE FUN OF YOU FOR BEING A NOOB! HAHA. I SPENT MORE TIME WRITING MY MOCKERY THAN I COULD HAVE ANSWERED THE QUESTION, OMFG IM SO COOL! OMFG CAN I BE A MOD NOW!"

Actually, the threads that are stickies can be as confusing as hell.
There are heaps of posts that don't contribute anything of any real value.

Ideally we should have some sources of information that have to be moderated and they should have a factual representation of what is out there rather than just stickies.

And if you are offended by someones question then don't answer the post. If you are however in the process of giving the poster some grief, in the time that you have taken to do that, you may as well have answered their question for them.

I'm not saying I don't find it a pain in the butt as it is, but if we had these information sources then at least we could just point them in the right direction rather than putting off a potential TA who wants to be part of the community.

www.juno.co.uk
www.chemical-records.co.uk

If you don't mind pay for overseas shipment, these two stand out in my mind as the best.

Cheers
Nem

+1 to both

I've often thought it could be a good idea to have a section of the forum dedicated to online/offline stores, have a seperate thread for each store and people could post their good/bad experiences.

Although, I guess this system, more than most, would rely on people using the wonderful button.

Just my 2 cents. Actually, I'm English. So just my 2 pence.

so how did your reply make you any more mature than me and the others who made comments about the thread before? and you probably spent more time writing about us than answering the question anyway. idiot.

i didn't mean to be an ass with my post...it just gets annoying seeing these posts every other day.

really? i have received stuff from them from NJ I think it was.... I think they have a couple distributing warehouses. i could be wrong though. they are seriously the most competent people I have dealt with when it comes to vinyls. their customer support is fantastic and their speed is unmatched. highly recommended.
