Tiesto in Concert - October, Miami

Haven't seen it mentioned here, but Tiesto's agency in their version of his TiC press release have announced that a TiC will take place in Miami.

Also coming to Washington DC and New Orleans (Voodoo Festival).

Venues will be announced soon. Big venues, don't worry

Dave

PS. TiC concerts are only 4 hour sets. Have fun

The worlds greatest DJ will also perform at the worlds greatest festival, the Voodoo Music Experience, which will be held in New Orleans in October. Leading up to Voodoo, expect to see Tiesto in top markets including Washington DC and Miami. To ring in 2006, Tiesto will headline a special New Years Eve event at a currently undisclosed location.

are they ONLY 4 hr sets?! how come its longer overseas grrr and here i thought he would spin longer down in Miami...

how long did he spin last yr at the Bayfront?

Posted by MrJangles on Jun-21-2005 14:58:

He played for 2 hours at Bayfront last year. I think the reason the concert will be 4 hours is because this is America and we are not quite as accomodating to all-night events like this one. Especially in a place like American Airlines Arena (where I hope/guess it will be played). I was in Holland last summer and these parties are a way of life so they can have them until 6 in the morning in sold out soccer stadiums. Not so much the case here although you could make an arguement about the Sasha and Digweed afterparty. I am guessing it will go from 9:30 until 1:30 like the LA show and I am also guessing the show will be in September. There is no confirmation, but his LA show is August 20 and this is an American tour so I can't imagine he's be here too long after that. I'm cool with the whole "4 hour" thing though. I mean, come on people, WE ARE GETTING TIESTO IN CONCERT!!!!

what do you mean, too many ppl will go? IT is an arena...of course there will be madd ppl! they need to fill up the arena. i personally dun care if its 18+ or not, i only care about that if its a venue that has limited capacity. then i care. otherwise, no.

Let's see, where can Tiesto make the most money, spin for the most number of people, in USA for New Years Eve. If you guessed NYC, you know your Tiesto.

pffft i wouldnt even go.
tiesto in concert here wouldnt be shit like the one in holland. and i went to the original which was amazing and i'm not going to ruin it by going to an attempt to immitate it here...

besides, we all know how "great" tiesto and the following he brings have been as of late. and there's no denying that

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Jun-21-2005 19:21:

the only way I'll go is if I get in for free

lol.

if i would have known TiC would come to the States, i could have saved myself like, a grand, by not seeing him in amsterdam.
but i'm still happy to have seen it over there, now that i see this is only going to be 4 hours, and probably a watered down version of the original.

still... would be pretty cool if i am magically off work that night

Same is true for most European DJs. I find DJs are more experimental and enthusiastic when playing in their hometown.

It's nice to see DJ Mason in the video clips on that website. I got to chat with him for a bit during this God'sKitchen event in Hong Kong last year. Good bloke

well since they announced that tiesto will be doing a TIC for NYE i highly doubt its gonna be at ICE. Iono what thats all about - only Svetas been saying that. and to come back for NYE in less than 5 yrs! There'd better be an alternative to Tiesto for NYE or else im def going out of state/country. Last year it was PVD/Jon O Bir vs. Yahel/Picotto (which wasnt much of an alternative but luckily i love PVD )
