Hi,

I've been trying to get this Extremely Filtered Bass VSTi under control. It has a few extreme filter sweeps that sound a lot louder than the other parts +20db , so i though ... hey let's use a limiter to get the maximum volume under control.
In Nuendo, i've tried : TC Native Limiter, T-Racks 24 Limiter, Peak Master, Waves L1, L3 and so on, Nothing does what it's supposed to ... they work to some extent , but then when the really loud part comes, the level just overshoots the SET limit( e.g. Output limit -6db , actual output clips to 6db )!

Has anybody ever had this problem ? I just don't get it , what should i do?

EDIT - Found the problem, Post/Pre Fader FX caused this , the filter was done trough the built in EQ from Neundo . . .fixed the problem by routing to another group track ...
