Do you think T.O. New Years parties are looking sad this year??
Is it just me or is looking like Toronto isn't the place to be for New Years this year??? I haven't really seen much, except for the PH & Nightmare party... I'm use to seeing more big parties and so far everything looks small and alright instead of amazing... what do you think???
the guvernment will be a good place to party for the 31st.
very...

yeah I know what you mean Malice...
There seemed to be more in previous years
The guvernment would be the only place I'd consider but I don't think there's a guest DJ. Maybe it's a New Years to just chill...or maybe...
Anyone know if anything good is happening in Montreal for New Years?? Montreal is always a good time if you want a change
Come to Buffalo!!!!!!!!!!

Guv
Guvernment is going to be the place to be. Its gonna be pretty hype as usual.
anyone going to thesmirnoffexperience??
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Max Graham @ system for Breathe...he is doing a 5 hour set! That is where I would be if I was in Toronto. But..I'm playing here in Buffalo, and I would much rather do that anyday...sorry max
Peace,
Steve

just check out the montreal forum
celebration is the only big event...its in the molson centre....best montreal venue that 514prod. gets about twice a year....
the lineup isnt the greatest...but its NYE in canada...its hard to get the pulling power from europe
max is supposed to be at celebration but i heard he is spinning at sona in montreal on NYE...its on the website...so i highly doubt he will be spinning a 5 hour set in TO also..maybe..u never know?
the other djs are
david morales
misstress barbara (wicked hard techno)
xl
lafleche
eddy jasmin....last 3 are all locals
I heard (From my good friends who spin in the VIP area at System's)Max Graham is going to be at System Sound Bar for NYE. Personaly I wouldn't go, due to the fact that I've been to System's on ever friday for the past year.
Toronto's NYE does seem to be LAME this year.
Taken from the breathe newsletter:
And now...the low-down on NYE 2001 at System Soundbar co-hosted by Breathe...
Max Graham (5 hr. set).
Full details, including advance ticketing information, to follow so stay tuned!!!
I do see that he is playing somewhere else in Canada on NYE, maybe it's possible that he will at both.
Peace,
Steve
he is playing at both.,...it on his site toronto-montreal
but the thing is...he was supposed to be at our big party (celebration) which has happened for the past 5 years.....and the same production company who throws this party (514) owns the after hours, sona, which is now scheduled to have him!? im really confused because if he is at celebration with misstress barbara and david morales...thats a pretty decent lineup compared to everywhere else
