Echo's 1st Bday@Black Cat Friday 29th July

Echo welcomes you to a very special 1st birthday show featuring the absolute best trance and psy this town has to offer. Join us as we christen our new home at Black Cat with a trance extravaganza to beat all others. After a massive (and messy) 1st year that included some of the best djs from home and abroad, Echo continues it's commitment to quality trance in all its forms. From progressive and melodic, uplifting and hard, psy and tek, if it's trance based, Echo will have it covered.

Joining Echo Stalwarts Solace, Matt Parker and R-E for this night will be new resident Brett James(Fresh FM Pleasure Sessions) and special guest DJ, MR S. One of the best around, MR S will be playing a special 2hr psy trance set, where he plans on pushing the boundaries of what you might believe trance to be.

Specials: Happy Hour 10-11
$2 Draught Schooners & Champaigne
$3 Base Spirits

Free entry before 10, $5 after.
Doors open 9pm.

Too many have closed recently with none replacing them, I'd take Soda over Heaven most times.......

Each to there own Gumble. Electric Circus is definitely a groovy club though. Look we are just glad to have somewhere to continue to push prog/trance and there could be worse places than Black Cat. Whether you like the sound any more or the clientle of the Cat, you have to admit its a nice looking and sounding club.

See those who still like their uplifting sounds in a few weeks to celebrate with us.

when it's full it's up there with the better vibe clubs around town.
the dj sound system is a turd to mix on but the main body sound is tight (but only when the fukka is full!)
nice enough crowd.

as for black cat.. hybrid is going to be a good night cos it's the perfect size (and a phat system) for the lads. it's not all about the club though!

does that mean the whole article in twenty4seven was incorrect ie that blacklightblu at tonic doesnt exist? please fill me in cos i am hanging out to get back in the trance scene and dont know where to go anymore!!

was hoping that there would be something conveniently on the 2nd aug (ie a month from the supposed opening night) as i have some 'trance friendly' friends coming from o/s and interstate that weekend...x

News Flash :: We have snared visiting Dutch DJ Camilo Perales for a special one off performance. Perales has played alongside the likes of Tiesto, Misja Helsloot, Ronald Van Gelderen and Armin Van Buuren back in his native Holland ::
