Chicane - Behind the Sun

Was just wondering if Chicane and any of his other work (including this cd) are any good. I have heard Saltwater and enjoyed it and was thinking of giving this cd a go. Anyone else have thoughts on this cd and his other productions? Thanks.

I was listening to this last night. Really nice music to chill out to, and you can get hold of it on ebay quite cheaply. The Bryan Adams track (don't give up) is a bit weak, but the rest of the album is nice

the Tomski vs. Disco Citizens Remix of Don't Give Up is my fave remix..i think that's better than the original....

and yes...DO get far from the maddening crowds...that's a great cd...too bad it's only available second hand....

Chicane - Kilometre is a beautiful track that everyone should check out. And ofcourse Chicane featuring Bryan Adams - Don't Give Up, pretty poppy but very beautiful track.

Chicane - Halcyon (Airscape Remix)
Chicane Ft Bryan Adams - Dont Give Up (Disco Citizens vs Tomski Remix)

Behind the sun is my favourite out of Chicanes selection, then would come far from the maddening crowd.

Posted by StanVoid on Jun-24-2005 19:47:

his defining tracks:

Chicane - Red Skies

Chicane - Lost You Somewhere

you gotta listen to those tracks before you can really appreciate trance.

Ghost Smilie

Other goodies:

Chicane- Love on The Run

Chicane- Autumn Tactics

And check out:

Billie Ray Martin- Honey (Chicane Club Mix)

Classic.

'red skies' is one of my favourite chicane tracks...quite simple strings and melodies but really powerful..

Most of the album is really good.
What I don't understand in this album is why did chicane produce it with chessy stuff (some might say, strong in love ect...)

huh? strong in love aint on "far from..".

however, me along with most people agree that chicane sucks when he goes mainstream (strong in love, love on the run, dont give up etc). behind the sun is great except for that bryan adams shit
