Figured i would upload this and see what people think about it.
Personally i think its starting to sound pretty good, nothing
groundbreaking, but still.

It kills the rest of the sounds!

Actually, thats what should happen when you compress the bass like that and do too much hard limiting. You'll hear the music get squashy , and on the off beats (and where the bassline stops) the music will all of a sudden get jacked up to fill in the void.

So, as he says, the bass needs to come down a whole lot! The way to make a bass louder and punchier is through clever EQing, not by compressing and limiting the heck out of it.

The melody is great TvB! I think just fixing that overwhelming bassline will really help, cuz the other synths sound pretty good!
