Derek the bandit? south african DJ

looking for some more derek the bandit cd's anyone know where to find this stuff, I got the ones I have in south africa and they are killer. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Hey,

Derek did a lot for dance in South Africa and has released quiet a few CDs. He does take a bit of a beating from the purests but that is to be expected. Check out his website www.dtb.co.za and if you looking to but CDs check out www.musica.co.za

Ya he got dropped by 5fm, we now have a syndicated radio show from Ministry of Sound. Load of wank if you ask me. 5fm are so into promoting SA music then we get Roger Sanchez on Sat nights, wtf? Last I spoke to Derek he was doing a radio show on a community radio station in Josie somewhere. Nothing beats the Cape Town house DJs Dean Fuel, Ryan Dent. Roger Goode is doing a great job on Fri and Sat on 5fm, he is so passionate about his music and its evident through his radio shows.

I believe Dizzy and Surge are still around, thank goodness I left the country just as the club scene collapsed and moved to a country with prolly one of the best scenes for pretty much any EDM genre
