HappyHappy Summer BBQ BONANZA!!!

Just had an AMAZING grillin' time with my bf on his new charcoal grill.

Grilled & seasoned grouper fillet with tartar sauce + grilled corn with lots of salt and butter + bottle of white wine =

We also grilled some sublime chicken with spicy teriyaki rub last night. We've grilled fennel, sweet, and hot sausage from the gourmet Italian store, as well as pork tenderloin wrapped with mozarella, steaks, etc. Next time it will be shrimp with veggies such as pepper, zucchini, and tomato. MmMmMMMmmMmmm.....

What do you grill? Share recipes... summer is GRILLIN' TIME!

I love barbeques. It's so fun to have a huge BBQ party, nothing like some fat greasy burgers straight from the grill!

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too healthy for me. You need good ol' fashion ribs, chicken, sausage, burgers, and all of the high cholesterol and fattening goodness you can get. The vegetable is corn, maybe mashed potatoes or potatoe salad. Top it off with a few beers or maybe something a little more fancy if you so choose.

THAT'S a BBQ...at least for me

Make your own meat for burgers. Marenate the meat, excusxe me on spelling , im drunk. Also add some spice to the meat. I had an ex girfriends br inlaw that cooked the best shit on the grill & thats the main thing he told me. After the marenate & spice part you experiment to see what works. His shit worked. Every sunday we were at his pool drinking & waiting for his bbq in da sun.

good call on the mashed potatoes ... mac n cheese as a side too... the next time we go fattening it will definitely be ribs + mac n cheese... the real stuff , homemade!

had about 12 uktas plus one tota and one norwegian ta round at mine about 3 weeks ago now for a bbq. Was great fun, but you can't go from the basics, it's pointless

all you need is....

alcohol

sausages
burgers
chicken
pork chops
onions

Sounds delicous! I love fennel!

Another fave vege of mine on the grill is artichoke. Season with olive oil/butter, rosemary, salt and then wrap in foil. You can also stuff pork with the cheese of your liking. I've always found stuffed pork and fruit to go hand in hand. If you can find a lingenberry or elderberry sauce Roasted yukan gold or purple peruvian potatoes are nice with lots of seasoning. Dice them up and wrap those in foil on the grill also. Ohhh, there's those hickory, mesquite, apple, etc. woodchips for smoking. I've always wanted some smoked salmon using some cedar wood. Ahi tuna filets are aldjfalf also. Melt in your mouth goodness

Those potatoes sound so fucking good! I wanna do some grilled fruit too, with some fruit sauce and ice cream on top. Grilled banana, caramellized? Grilled peach must be great.....

ANSWER ME!!

I was not the one having excessive morning juices, young sire. Wakin' me up at 5 to rub the Preperation H.

Are you talking to me?

Sausage is disgusting, just like bacon. Just look at it!

The texture, gag reflex.

It actually looks like thumbs or toes. I swear I see two toenails at each end.

Posted by SID133 on Jun-25-2005 18:07:

INGREDIENTS:
1 seedless watermelon
1 1/2 cups rum, or as needed

----------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
1.Rinse the outer rind of the watermelon thoroughly, and pat dry. Set the watermelon in a position so it will not roll over. Press the tip of a funnel through the rind of the melon. If using a plastic funnel, you may need to cut a hole.
2.Situate the melon on a towel in the bottom of the refrigerator or on the counter. Pour rum into the funnel a little at a time, refilling as it seeps into the melon. I start the afternoon before, since we usually leave to go to events in the morning. Allow the melon to marinate at least a few hours, before removing the funnel. Slice just before serving.

This is watermelon and liquor...perfect for BBQ's, picnics, camping and by the pool! Use any liquor you like, even wine works! I use seedless watermelon, but you don't have to." Original recipe yield: 12 servings.

have fun

Gag reflex...hate that...always get it when the doctor sticks that popcicle stick down my throat and tells me to say aaaaaaaaa. I guess that's plus one on the side of heterosexuality for me. And...I was talking to the thread starter who made some tasty hot sausages for their BBQ! Whoever that was...

You almost found a pic of that...just a little more searching...i'm sure there is one out there somewhere....

hahaaa oh sorry. My mistake. I hate that! Or it happens to me just about everyday when I'm brushing the tongue.

Seriously, though. What is that at the ends? Marbling? Horrid...
Clipped toe nails!

Yeah that's right, I almost spew my breakfast up sometimes when i'm trying to brush the stink off the back of my tongue.

Marbling? Umm...I guess...it's the opaque casing (usually made out of animal intestines) that houses the meat and other things. It comes at a point at both ends...because...well I guess it's just a result of how it's made. Like...uh...why does the little nob stick out of the end of a long balloon when it's not fully blown up? See? Maybe not. I really don't know anything about sausages or long balloons, if you could guess.

On a related note, why is it that every time a tennis player hits the ball they sound like they're in the final throes of an especially intense orgasm?

Thanks for the explanation. Your knowledge of sausage is vast

How about these creatures:

Would you cuddle, Jeremy? If it could truly be de-scented?

Posted by Aiwendil on Jun-25-2005 18:37:

Is that a mongoose? Oh a ferret. I didn't know they smelt. Well...of course i'd cuddle with that little guy whether he smelt or not. He looks like he needs some luv. Maybe his mommy never gave him hugs.
