once a month now republik is going to bring a guest dj on sundays. how sick is that

WOOOOAAAH! prolly shouldn't miss this since they're apparently abandoning the scene. should be a good show! right now its prolly a 50/50 if i'll be able to make it though.

DuMonde aka. JamX & De Leon Announcement

Just to let you know, we are separating a bit from the global dance scene and will release less music under our aliases �DuMonde� or �JamX & De Leon� and also less music on F8T Recordings and AccessTunes.

The basic reason is the shrinking market and the weak support from the people which has lead to the situation, where we are now more concentrating on other music productions for other people and also more �music on demand productions� for big industry companies. But still you can expect some selective DuMonde releases and DJ appearances from us during the next months, we just don�t do that much anymore, because of �see above�.

Anyway, trance music will always be our love and we hope it will grow again during the next years. And hopefully the whole music industry will �re-vitalize� soon and become what it was 5 years ago. But that�s not in our hands but in yours, because it�s you who will decide how to support the music you love.

walter is the owner of republik and has a pretty big dj reputation, and dennis hahn has also been getting a huge local status in the last year or so. (plays in waterloo a lot) don't know to much about goldfinger, but i'm pretty sure he plays trance. you'll be hearing great trance all nite so chillax.

and my guess is they'd put deko-ze in the smoking room, cause his style doesn't follow the rest of the nite.

I just wanted to hear Dumonde all night, i care not for these other people. If i wanted to hear them i would go to where ever it is they are spining to hear them

but seriously, their are always opening djs, i don't like when its a huge line up either when i want my favorite group to play (ie. above and beyond but i obviuosly no MO is opening)...but it'll prolly be something like

walter - 10-1130
dennis hahn 1130-1
dumonde 1-5
goldfinger - 5 close


i don't know, could be way off...but prolly something like that...i'm thinking at least 4hrs by dumonde.

On the site for Dumonde they complained that they're not making enough money, but all prices and whatnot aren't for North America. They should sell T-Shirts and CDs there, I'd buy, there's some cool ones

Shit I would buy a Dumonde shirt. As for their sets there are not many out there that they have. as for them not making enough money personally i think they are better than Nu nrg, they just have to do more tours, and live sets
