Visiting Montreal (EXCITED!!!)

So my friends and i are visiting montreal (alot to take advantage of the 18+ drinking system). I am probably the cultural one out of them all, and like to see the city and various different landmarks, taking pictures, etc. What types of things are fun to see? Are there jewish quarters? cute little streets? shopping districts? european areas? any suggestions are welcome! BARS TOO!!!

we'll be here from the 6th to the 14th, so if any good club events are going on, we'll definitely be down. also, we're going to tremblant!

Hang around the old port. Looks like paris. You can rent a horse carriage too. IMO the best little bit of all north america. Especially around sunset on a summer evening. So much life everywhere.

I just came back from Montreal this week. Do the touristy stuff, but also save some time to walk around the city. My favorite moment in Montreal was having breakfast outside on a quite side street in the Mile End district.

Ahhh I must disagree. St-Laurent, St-Catherine AND St-Denis are the BEST streets in Montreal. Not one more than another.

St-Denis is THE fashion street, St-Catherine is city living at its best and St-Laurent is the undisputed party street. Pick one for each day.

you forgot crescent man, the only place in the world where american tourists, ontarian college frat boys, and old montreal farts can gather for an expensive beer. they also play the best god damn music, california dreamin' into the blade song into sandstorm, i don't know how it's mixed but hot milfs dance like crazy on it.

well im back and you guys have a great city. vieux-port is great and we hit up the bars on saint-laurent (pretty cheesy area). St.-Catherine is nice, and I enjoyed St. Denis, but wished that i had discovered it earlier. I was staying at the McGill college dorms, and had a great time. We also stayed at my friend's house in Tremblant on the lake for a few days. It was awesome! Btw, we also checked out Upstairs Jazz Lounge, which was really great. Spent about 70 dollars CAD at the bar on myself. Oh well... when in Montreal, right?
