Hoowly, I have to go to this, last time I saw him was at the Ascension boat raves ('01), I can remember Ascension 20, I think, with the poor guy who passed out/ O.D'd and the polivr boat came and took him away.

UPDATE:

As some of you may be aware, Glen Vernon who was originally scheduled to play the boat cruise unfortunately passed away a couple of weeks ago.

Part of the fallout from losing a good friend is having to carry on without him. We know that Glen Vernon would want The Dr. Trance Retirement Boat Cruise to sail as scheduled, and we know that he would approve of our choice of Michael Drury as his replacement.

Drury (or Mikey Mike as Dr. Trance dubbed him many years ago) has been around this scene longer than anyone on the boat (except Iain) yet somehow looks younger. His soulful house grooves that rocked System, Whiskey Saigon and his own Tantric parties will add a new dimension to the varied music that we will be offering on the afternoon of Aug 21. And, by virtue of the infamous clause in his contract, he will also now be in charge of the boat's back room, formerly known as The Dr Trance Casting Couch�
