'da fuck? You should get that seen to. Crazy fool!

Interesting ideas. Pretty heavy psy going on there, its almost verging on industrial at some points. The mastering needs a lot of work. Its clipping like all hell.

I prefer more melody progrssion in my psy so its not really my cup of trance, but theres a lot of work gone into some of the elements which i can appreciate.

Nice fx around the 4.30 mark. It's distorting like fuck, but I dont know if thats your intention. Even of it it, you could eq it better so that the distortion is clearer.

6.00 is working for me. That descending melody is really rockin. You should clean this up some more though and it would sound killer.

Has a sort of watery quality which I guess the ruski was referring to.

Interesting stuff...

Nice bassline.

Other than what Axolotyl said about clipping, you've got some nice trance going on here. I liked the techy acid lines.

Re: 140 Bpm Psy Trance Project

Ok, i m listening "I touch a pulsar", psy trance, m not much into it but i liked all the sequences n changes, still overall i would rate that abt 6 out of 10, good work!

Posted by Sparkunian on Jun-29-2005 15:54:

Thanx for your comments mate

The low rate is for mastering or something else?

Psy Trance Rating

Mastering, i think i was quite ok with that, but the rating was for the life of the song, u could have added more life to that music, try some filter automations to ur main synth, use some variations in kick n bass n i think it will sound great then.

One of the things that I work again on this track is filter automations
I also want to make the track shorter to be more easy listening and no repetitive.Maybe some more changes to drum loops at some points and remastering some sounds that are too loud for my ears.If anybody else has something to comment?

Thanx

i'd leave that sound starting at 1:15 out and spend some time on remastering, ... as already mentioned

Posted by Xenocreator_PG_ on Jul-03-2005 00:51:

Interesting sounds Sparkunian. I like it.

1.20 Crazy. This part could do with another 'high' layer.

Lots of interesting fx that melt my brain...

3.15 love the new layers. Very well done.

Nice work mate. I'd definitely like to hear a better quality version!!

Posted by DarkSynergy on Jul-03-2005 01:50:

Wow. There's so many things going on in this song. I think u should change that kick. and work on the quality of the production on this one. I think if you use alot of automation like filters it would sound alot better. give it some more atmosphere. hopefully this helps. =)

STEREO PAN-TASTIC,

Guy's... the point of this is experimental trance so dont be too harsh, I think it has a lot of potential. It may need some final mastering but the sounds that Sparko is using are very creative. Keep plugging away my friend and thanx for the positive feedback on my track.

Yeah, its raw as fuck psy trance!! The remastering on the update sounds a lot better. Theres still hella distortion but its not clipping atleast now.

Reminds me of a lot of the psytrance coming our ot russia at the moment. Have you hear of Kindzadza? If not, check them out... definately a similar style of psy.

Hey Sparkunian, do you know the Lord of Bass, Greeces No1 Hardstyle producer? I noticed he is the next one down from you on the greece artists on your web hosting... lol

Posted by Sparkunian on Jul-21-2005 17:56:

Thanx wavydalker and axolotyl Your words are a nice suprise for me..
Actually I'm working in a new project now but when I'll finish it I'll remix pulsar again. As I said before I want to make it shorter not clipping and put more psy elements inside.
Lord of Bass is neighbour.I think (his name is Veros isn't it?)I know him personally (I mean only his name and face)but that was before a lot of years when the first rave and acid parties began in Thessaloniki.I knew him as a DJ he was one of the first that bring this music to Thessakoniki and maybe Greece.Always had hard style and was very familiar to our town but all these before...15 years. After that I see again his post at this forum and I dissapoint a little bit...with his attitude but I don't want to say anything else for personal matters.

Cheers
