Probabbly the greatest Naval victory in the histroy of the UK...Admiral Nelson destroyed the French Navy - ending Napoleon's hopes of ever invading England and controling the seas - Admiral Nelson was shot and killed tragically at the end of the battle. His statue is standing tall in the middle of Trafalgar Square in London England

Seems like a pretty major battle, too bad it wasnt mentioned in my World History class, thank you Canadian Education. And you would think they'd at least teach you History associated with England.

This was lightly touched in my Modern Western Civilization class (BAAAARELY)...but we studied it more seriously in my history class in Uni I love that era..so many wars, battles, this is what shaped our world as it is today ..this and onward

actually they got the name for the street from Monopoly (the original one)
