movies: war of the worlds, darwin's nightmare...
Just came back from War of the Worlds... wow. The imagery are simply amazing, i have seen ALOT of movies and this one in term of authenticity is simply astounding. This movie MUST be seen in the theatres, DO NOT settle for anything less than a 50 foot wide screen. Some of the images seen in there will not be forgotten so real they look.
The story is very simple, wait who cares about the story, what are you doing reading this, go see it NOW.
Ok for those who are reading this at 2am and that cannot go to the theatres... go on reading 
Darwin's Nightmare: this is a documentary filmed with a really simple camera and equipment. no THX no synthetic imagery, its the real Africa and how its getting screwed by the rest of the world (namely us). Some very disturbing facts and images, not for the faint of heart. This is the kind of movie needed to be seen by some of you guys living in the comfort of your suburban homes who never felt or lived an inferior quality of life, it will wake you up (i hope).

I'm ashamed to say that I have yet to see The Barbarian Invasions.
I definitely MUST rent it. I've heard INCREDIBLE things about it from a variety of people.
Yeah I'm with Malek here, BRILLIANT movie...Really gives me even more respect for Spielberg...The way he set the scenes, you just NEVER knew what the hell was gonna happen! Can't remember the last time a movie legitimately had me at the edge of my seat! Everyone MUST see this movie in the theatre! Though the end is pretty weak, the rest of the movie MORE than makes up for it!

I MEAN, IFUCKING LOVED THE FILM, ALL THE WAY UP TO... THE FKN END. You. have. got. to. be. kidding. me.
1- These "aliens" are so brilliant that they've managed to completely miss the kids mom and WHOLE FAMILY. Not only that, but the fucking house/family is UNSCATHED!!!! WTF!!
2- THE SON? I'm not even going to try to elaborate on this. Spielberg plays up on HIS DEATH on the battlefield and he thens leaves us to believe that he's made it, through the vast amount of alien ships, safely to boston??
3- THE ALIENS ARE SO SMART AND HAVE STUDIED EARTH FOR ALL THESE YEARS THAT THEY DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT REACTION ORGANISMS WOULD HAVE ON THEM? GOOOD FUCKING GAME...
EVERYTHING UP TO THE END - BRILLIANT!
THE END - ID RATHER SEE JOEL SHUMACUHERS VERSION OF BATMAN WITH THE GAY ARNOLD, fkn horrid...

Yeah...the end was fuckin ridiculously dumb, but c'mon! Think of the good! Right up until the last 15 minutes, this was one of the most breathtaking displays of imagery EVER! Each and every one of the alien scenes was brilliant and mind-boggling!
It's just a shame it was such a weak ending that made NO sense at all.

the same day i watched that movie, i was around some friends buying pills and stuff ... you can imagine me at the end of the movie, i seriously was depressed for like 3 days
